We self-funded and built our own stores and this has allowed us to rapidly grow to two units and a class-leading website in the space of 2 years. We’re building an omni-channel vertical brand that sources and develops its products and fulfils them online through our beautiful neighbourhood stores.

About the Store Manager Role
The Store Manager will lead their team to be brand ambassadors, providing world class hospitality to our customers whilst ensuring smooth and efficient operations of online delivery orders.
Responsibilities
- Team Leadership - Hire, train and coach team members. Manage labour efficiency through effective scheduling. Build a positive and engaging workplace, where each team member feels welcomed and respected.
- Hospitality – Create a friendly atmosphere that puts our stores at the centre of community life.
- Operational Management - Oversee and ensure service and retail functions run smoothly as well as online orders fulfilled from your store. Deliver effective training for new initiatives and operational roll-outs.
- Visual Merchandising - Ensure product displays are properly merchandised, labelled, and restocked.
- Inventory Management - Conduct regular stock checks and ensure use by dates are noted.
- Accountability - Controlling key shop costs including shrinkage, waste and payroll to achieve all KPI’s, reporting directly to the founder

About the Asst. Store Manager Role
The Assistant Store Manager will report to the Store Manager acting as a highly visible brand ambassador. As a team leader you will embody our brand values and engage with customers in a way that ensures they get what makes us different – warmth, humour and an obsession with food and drink.
Responsibilities
- Hospitality - Lead the coffee and bakery service to provide a warm and attentive hospitality experience
- Leadership - Our brand and concept is both friendly and focussed on luxury so you need to get the balance right by leading team members to enjoy their work whilst getting their tasks done effectively and quickly
- Coaching - Provide team members with on the job coaching and product knowledge development
- Control - Uphold delivery procedures, consistent merchandising standards and stock check accuracy
- High standards - Ensure cleanliness and food safety

About the Executive Assistant Role
We operate two luxury food stores and produce groceries and service lines in our CPU in Highgate. We are a fast paced high growth startup company that would benefit from an Executive Assistant to add value by focusing on the detail.
Job Description
The Grocery Post is looking for an Executive Assistant to join our team. The Executive Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to the business owners.
This includes placing purchase orders, communicating with employees on HR matters and ensuring the business prioritises regulatory compliance and effective administration. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, be able to multi-task, be a strong communicator and have an eye for detail with good numeracy.
Responsibilities
- Place purchase orders
- Prepare our reports on waste, discounting and stock levels
- Communicate with suppliers via email, phone, or other means of communication
- Onboard new products and ensure digital labels are kept to up to date
- Maintain a cloud based filing system and organize paperwork
- Update personnel files and onboard new starters
- Schedule meetings and appointments
